Hatfield College is the second-oldest constituent college of Durham University, founded in 1846. The college is situated in the shadow of the magnificent Durham Cathedral, and is home to undergraduates and postgraduates reading for a wide variety of degrees. The chapel building physically dominates the entrance to college, whilst the chaplaincy plays a large role in the day-to-day life of Hatfield.
